Alleyn's clinched the Elgin Capital Southern League title for the first time with an extra-time victory over Eton when the game finally took place, after two postponents, at Charterhouse
The game remained goalless until midway through the second half when Alleyn's finally broke the deadlock. Good work down the left by Harry Chaldecott found Tom Derry in space and he had the awareness to play in Joe Kelly who calmly slid the ball under the Eton goalkeeper.

However, Eton fought back strongly and equalised ten minutes from time through a swift and impressively executed counter attack to force extra-time.
The game was decided two minutes the break in extra-time when Matthew Caseby lofted the ball over the Eton defence for Tom Derry, who burst through to smash the ball home to the delight of the travelling fans.
