2017-18 BRADFIELD 3 REPTON 1

Bradfield finally reach their Holy Grail!

Bradfield College claimed the Boodles ISFA Cup for the first time in their history, after a deserved win over Repton in a match refereed by Premier League official, Martin Atkinson.  Bradfield started the game brightly and were quickly rewarded when Ethan Yeung completed a smart turn on the edge of the box and slotted home what can only be described as a wonder goal.  They advanced their lead before half-time when Mulikas converted from close range.  Repton came out fighting in the second half, pulling a goal back within minutes when a deep cross caused problems in the Bradfield defence and, as the ball was headed back across goal, Raine headed home. Repton continued to maintain their tempo and push for an equaliser but were denied after Beuchler, Bradfield’s second goalkeeper, pulled off two great saves. Bradfield restored their two-goal lead when Hodgkinson finished smartly after some excellent work in the box.
