2010 FESTIVAL

The 2010 ISFA U13 Regional Festival took place between 27th and 29th March at Repton School with the following nine districts attending:

East
Herts & Essex
London
North-East
North-West
South Central
South-East
South-West
West Midlands


South Central (green/white) v. South-East (red)

The Festival proved most enjoyable for all those attending. There is no tournament, with the emphasis on providing opportunities for all the players attending to get plenty of football without the pressures of needing to win to acquire league points. The traditional giants, London and the North-West, proved to be daunting opponents for all and the match between them is one of the highlights of the Festival. However, encouragingly, this year all regions enjoyed some success and the staff were delighted by the enthusiasm and commitment shown by the players.

Following the Festival the following Squad of 20 players was selected to return to Repton to represent the ISFA U14 Representative Team in a Festival against a number of professional clubs for four days between 9th-12th August 2010. In addition, a number of Development Squads were also chosen.
